REACH FOR THE STARS!

Wake na Vijana Initiatives Holds its First “Reach for the Stars” High School Capacity Building Workshop

We are excited to announce the launch of Reach for the Stars program which is aimed at enhancing the abilities, skills, and knowledge of students.

We had the privilege of engaging with 46 students from Michelle Winners Secondary School, a small school located in Githurai 44 in the outskirts of Nairobi, where we discussed career preparedness and the types of subject clusters needed to pursue various career paths.

‘’ I feel motivated from today’s  session and I am hopeful about joining a university and pursuing my career.” says Nicolas, a form four student who aspires to be an actor.

The students’ active participation gave great energy and commitment that was truly inspiring, highlighting their eagerness to learn and plan for their futures.

We are dedicated to expanding our reach and enriching the educational journey and career readiness of more students who otherwise would not have the opportunity to have access to such information.

To achieve this, we need your support. You can make monetary contributions through donations or in kind donations such as sanitary towels, and stationery.

Your donation will provide essential materials and resources we need to introduce this program to more students and to continue with our current program at Michelle Winners Secondary School.

Join us in making a lasting impact.
